Gates: Launch of TPU parabolic pitch belts
Gates has announced the introduction of a new thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) belt, the Gates Parabolic Pitch (GPP) in 8 mm and 14 mm profiles. The GPP belts are said to be stronger, more durable, quieter, safer to operate and to require less maintenance than other alternatives, including alternative rubber belts, roller chains and steel cables.
