Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. announced plans to establish a satellite engineering and sales office of Toyoda Gosei North America Corporation (TGNA), the company’s regional headquarters for the Americas, in the city of Dublin, OH, USA. Start of operations of the Dublin office is scheduled for 9 July 2019.
The company said that certain design and sales functions located in TGNA’s head office in Troy, MI, USA, will be relocated to the new office near the Ohio office of Honda R&D Americas,Inc., a major customer of Toyoda Gosei. This is intended to speed up the development work for interior products and airbags. The number of engineering and sales employees will be increased to about 10 by the early 2020s.Toyoda Gosei said that it aims to continue expanding its business to respond rapidly to the development and production needs of automakers in the USA, a major market for the company.
