With the COVID pandemic continuing to have a detrimental impact on corporate travel, Smithers has decided to move their established industry event TPE & Silicone Elastomers World Summit 2020 to an online format. The new event will take place on the afternoons of 15-16 December, and delegates will still be able to move between both TPE and silicone online presentations by purchasing one Elastomers World Summit ticket.
Smithers said that given the current situation they believe that this decision provides the best opportunity for networking and learning for the community. The new online format will offer delegates the same high-quality content, expert speakers and unique networking opportunities as the traditional face-to-face events.
The Elastomers World Summit Online brings together manufacturers, processors, end-users, designers and researchers for a summit-style technical discussion of elastomer materials, global markets, processing advancements and novel applications. Industrial and academic research staff and the customer users of elastomers will explore emerging applications, manufacturing techniques, processing improvements and testing advances.
