Beginning of December 2020 the company announced a name change: Francesco Franceschetti Elastomeri is now Marfran. Ten years after the „management buyout“ from which Francesco Franceschetti Elastomeri emerged, the Italian compounder is continuing its success story: a decade-long history that began in 1987 and which continues today with ever new impulses and inspirations that further enrich the product range and the service portfolio.
“We wanted to celebrate this milestone with all customers and partners, sharing values, commitment and new perspectives with an event to present all the news. Then we all had to face ‘a new challenge’. The passion we put into our work, our willingness to accept changes looking for new solutions and our faith in the future have made us to resist. We have chosen not to give up on our project: a global rebranding, new name, new logo, new font, new color”, the company proudly declared in a statement announcing the name change.
The new logo combines two key features of the company’s identity.
Elastomers. – This is the product Marfran is focussing on.
Passion. – The commitment and dedication brought to work is what makes Marfran unique.
A new color has been created for the logo, Marfran Blue. It was chosen to sum up the company’s identity in a nutshell. It is innovative, but based on a fusion of all of the colours that decorated the company logo over the years.
A new identity deeply rooted in the past

Among the recent developments are the Master.MSTR compounds, foaming agents masterbatches with concentrations up to 65 % in order to propose different levels and modes of expansion.
