Europur and Euro-Moulders announced that due to the Covid-19 epidemic in Europe, the associations are forced to reschedule their annual conference to 24 and 25 November 2020, in the same venues in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The conference will take place in the Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport Hotel and a dinner will take place at the Scheepvaartmuseum in the evening of 24 November. The programme of the event will be slightly amended and will be communicated shortly, the associations said.
Europur and Euro-Moulders added the following (in its original wording):
|“We are sorry for this change of dates, but with most of Europe in lockdown or with travel restrictions in place for an unknown period of time, it just appeared safer for everybody to do so. We thank you for your understanding. We have already signed new contracts with the venues. However, to assist us in the planning process for the rescheduled event, please kindly take a minute to complete this survey to let us know whether – to the best of your knowledge today – you think you can make the new dates or not:
Completing this survey will not replace registration to the rescheduled conference. It just is very useful for us to know how many participants will be able to make the new dates.
What happens to your hotel bookings and registration?
We will cancel all registrations to the conference. If you booked a hotel room with our booking code (EP2020), your hotel room will be automatically cancelled free of charge and you have nothing to do. You will however need to book a new room and register again when we open registration to the rescheduled event. If you booked a hotel room without using our code or at a different hotel, you are responsible for cancelling the room yourself. The cancellation terms applicable to your bookings will apply.
What about paying attendees (non-members)?
If you are one of the few paying attendees at the event (non-members), please kindly let Raffaella Salerno (firstname.lastname@example.org) know whether you are able to attend at the new dates or not. If you are able to make the new dates, there is nothing to do, the amounts you have paid will be used for your future new registration. If you are unable to make the new dates and have paid already, we will refund you. If you haven’t paid yet, we will issue a credit note cancelling the invoice you have received.
