Chinaplas 2020
According to Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, in order to control the novel coronavirus epidemic in China and in accordance with the instructions issued by the Shanghai city government to stop all large-scale activities, Chinaplas 2020, the 34th International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries, scheduled to be held on 21 – 24 April 2020 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai will be postponed. New dates for the show will be announced at a later time, said the organiser.

Gem Indonesia, the organiser of Tyre & Rubber Indonesia 2020, announced that it has taken the decision to postpone and reschedule the event due to the coronavirus outbreak, thus ensuring the health and safety of all participant and attendees. Tyre & Rubber Indonesia 2020 was originally scheduled to be held from 18 – 20 March 2020 at JIExpo Kemayoran Jakarta. “Notice is hereby given that the 9th Tyre & Rubber Indonesia has been rescheduled due to some countries are fighting a serious battle against the Novel Coronavirus, we observe that the development of this epidemic virus is getting wider and the number of infected also is increasing high,” said the organiser. The new date for Tyre & Rubber Indonesia is 24 – 26 March 2021 at JIExpo Kemayoran Jakarta.

On 31 January 2020, Koelnmesse (Beijing) Co., Ltd., the organiser of CIFM / interzum guangzhou 2020 – Asia’s largest and most comprehensive trade exhibition for woodworking machinery, furniture production and interiors, published the following announcement: “In view of the current outbreak of respiratory disease caused by the novel coronavirus in various parts of China, the Guangdong Provincial Pneumonia Epidemic Leading Group Office for Prevention and Control of New Coronavirus Infection, the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, and the Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau have issued notices to restrict mass activities, and suspend large-scale economic and trade activities province-wide, as well as halt all large-scale exhibition activities in the city of Guangzhou respectively during this period in order to safeguard the health and safety of all exhibition participants. As a result, CIFM / interzum guangzhou, which was originally scheduled to be held at the China Import and Export Fair Complex (Pazhou Complex) from 28 – 31 March 2020, will be postponed. The new event dates and further arrangements will be announced shortly.”

Asiamold & SIAF Guangzhou 2020
Following the notice by the Guangdong Province Department of Commerce on 24 January 2020 to suspend all large-scale events due to the coronavirus outbreak, the organisers of the SPS – Industrial Automation Fair Guangzhou (SIAF) and concurrent Asiamold fairs announced that the 2020 editions will be postponed until further notice. The fairs were originally scheduled to be held from 26 – 28 February 2020 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex, Guangzhou. New dates for the fairs will be announced in due course. This was announced by the organiser Messe Frankfurt.
