With immediate effect, or as existing contracts permit, BASF SE will increase its European selling prices for the following products:
- 1,4-Butanediol (BDO): +100 EUR/t
- Tetrahydrofuran (THF): +130 EUR/t
- Polytetramethylene ether glycol (i.e. Polytetrahydrofurane, PolyTHF): +130 EUR/t
- N-Methyl-2-Pyrrolidone (NMP): +150 EUR/t
- N-Ethylpyrrolidone (NEP): +200 EUR/t
- Gamma Butyrolactone (GBL): +200 EUR/t
- Polybutylene terephthalate (PBT): +50 EUR/t
BDO and its derivatives are used for producing engineering plastics, polyurethanes, solvents and elastic spandex fibres.
