The South Korean company Songwon Industrial Co., Ltd. has announced changes to its leadership structure. The Executive Committee will now include six members instead of eight.
With this change, Doug Excell, Leader Quality Assurance, Regulatory & Best Practices, and Olivier Keiser, Chief Sustainability Officer and Leader Procurement & International Supply, left the company at the end of March 2020. In line with these changes, the responsibility for the business functions has been split between the current members of the Executive Committee.
The company said that the changes implemented aim to facilitate faster decisions, simplified processes and enable Songwon to increase its agility by returning to its traditionally lean organisational structure.
