Italian compounder Marfran announced that it will increase its manufacturing capacity for TPE compounds approximately by 20 % through different investments at its Corte Franca plant in north of Italy: thanks to this increased productive capacity the company will notably enable more flexibility and opportunity to increase products’ families as for the growing demand in the market. The investment in new machineries is made of three different components: the first one is a new compounding line, the second is a new packaging system and the third is a new sampling line: those investments are intended for the consolidation, development, and optimization of the production.
The new compounding line will support the plant with higher capacity for new market sectors and to open the current business to new countries. Connected to this implementation, Marfran has decided to invest in a new automatic bagging system to optimize the final process of the production. The third investment is intended to give a complete service to customers and market, supporting the first steps of product development thanks to the manufacturing of samples with serial production condition and equivalent equipment. All the new machines will be fully operational between June-September 2022.
“We are very pleased to invest in this weird and challenging time, we believe in future and just with investments we can drive our company to the next level of production’’ states the General Manager Alberto Arrighini, according to the vision of Franceschetti family, owner of the company. ‘’This new equipment will give a boost to our production for an extremely high-quality materials, supporting our multi-product strategies.”
