The Taiwanese TPE expert Phon Tech will exhibit at Fakuma 2018. A highlight at the stand in hall A7 will be new TPE grades that comply with German LFGB.
The company recently announced that it has successfully developed thermoplastic elastomers that comply with German LFGB §31. This regulation consists of different specific tests to make sure the material is safe for contact with foodstuff, which includes sensorial examination, specific migration of metals, global migration, specific migration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), nonylphenol in polymers and screening of plasticizer.
Phon Tech Industrial Company was founded in 2006. The headquarter and the production site are located in Douliu Yunlin, Taiwan. Since 2018 the company is ISO 9001:2015 certified. Phon Tech supplies a broad portfolio of thermoplastic elastomers, among them materials for food contact and medical applications.
