CPI: 2020 Polyurethanes Technical Conference cancelled

On 1 June 2020, the Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) of the American Chemistry Council (ACC) announced that it will not present the 2020 Polyurethanes Technical Conference in San Antonio, TX, USA, scheduled for 5 – 7 October 2020.

Lee Salamone, Senior Director, ACC Center for the Polyurethanes Industry, said: “This difficult decision was made by the CPI Steering Committee because the essential in-person interactions that drive so much of the value of this annual event may not be possible even by October. We thought it best to minimise any uncertainty about health concerns and economic pressures our attendees may be facing at this time. We know there will be questions and we are here to help. Please contact Elizabeth Bailey with specific concerns.”

Salamone added: “We will have more information regarding refunds for sponsorships, table tops, and registrations in the coming weeks. CPI truly values the relationships we have with our speakers, attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s conference, which will take place October 4-6, 2021, in Denver, Colorado. Stay tuned and stay well! We hope to present valuable information and educational content in other ways in 2020. As always, thank you for your support of CPI and of the conference.”
