The supplier of vibration control technology Boge Rubber & Plastics has announced that production would start at its plant in Wuxi, China, this year. The Boge Group generates around 20 % of global sales in China and plans to increase sales in China by a further EUR 100 million with the new plant in Wuxi.
The Boge Rubber & Plastics Group is headquartered in Germany. The company was acquired by the Chinese company Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Railway Rolling Stock Corporation Ltd. (CRRC), in 2014 and has a broad network in China with three production plants in Qingpu, Zhuzhou and Wuxi. Today, Boge is the largest supplier of lightweight pedal modules on the Chinese market and currently employs over 1,200 people in China.
